Expose your favorite music videos here to share with everyone. (what did you think I was talking about? *wicked grin*) They can be any type of music or group, the whole point is to share the musical love!

Here's one to get us started. I love this song. It's so beautiful. For those fans of Trinity Blood, it also serves as the opening theme for the anime. This live performance is just one example of why I love Atsushi Sakurai's voice. It sounds fantiastic all the time. In the studio, on the stage, in the pooring rain... Hard to believe he was hiding behind a drum set at one point in his career!

He is one of my favorite vocalists of all time and a lifetime member of my bishonen harem.

Oh! and to get them to display in the window, copy/paste the Embed code listed on the YouTube page and paste it in your post. Then be sure to select "HTML On - Auto Linebreak Mode" in the dropdown menu right below the post field. =)

And of course, tis hard to live in Central Texas and not worship Stevie Ray Vaughn.

And my family all knows that the only two requests I have for my funeral are that I be buried in my Levi's and that they play this song.

I really like this topic, can you tell? biggrin.gif

There's a great Guild Wars AMV to this song as well, but I decided to go w/ the live performance instead. If you're interested in the AMV you can find it here.

You see the theme here, right? Clapton said it best...

"I get off on screaming guitars."

I was lucky enough to see Yngwie in concert; I think I spent most of the time with my jaw somewhere in the vacinity of my chest, probably drooling like an idiot. ohmy.gif Absolutely astounding.

Yngwie Malmsteen-

You Don't Remember

Fury

suite Op5

And, speaking of Clapton...

Ok, maybe you shouldn't have gotten me started on this. LOL

Ritchie Blackmore on guitar and Ronnie James Dio's incredible voice... I can only say I'm glad I have good speakers on the machine now and that I found this one early enough to crank it up without annoying my law enforcement neighbor.

Rainbow Long Live Rock and Rock

**cackling wildly**

This one rattled everything on my desk.

Dio-

Holy Diver

And yeah, the video on this was is.. weird... silly... ok, pretty freaking stupid. But the song just rocks.

Last In Line

Yes, I want to feel it all the way down to my bones, every time.

Found this one yesterday morning.

no no no.... no more amazon till the credit card is paid off! no no no no

Kamelot
March of Mephisto

And I have to add these. biggrin.gif

1974... I was 11 years old and, having been raised in a mid-sized West Texas town by conservative parents (a former Marine Mason and an Eastern Star matron), my exposure to anything other than country music had been limited to pretty much Elvis, Buddy Holly (of course, we lived in Lubbock), along that line.

Then, late one night, I happened upon a concert that was showing on TV.

from the California Jam, 1974

Black Sabbath

Paranoid

and

Deep Purple

Smoke on the Water

Emerson, Lake and Palmer

Karn Evil 9, 1st Impression, Part 2

So for someone who had been hearing Buck Owens and Charlie Pride and Marty Robbins (the last whom I still love, though if I never hear Buck Owens again in my life it would be fine with me), it was a life changing event.

rolleyes.gif

As my previous posts in this topic probably show.
